Spring Up! is an arcade game with a gardening theme. Your job is to hit the objects with a matching color to remove them from your garden, and the level is complete when you remove them all. The controls are pretty simple. You just use your mouse to aim the launcher and move the paddle to try to catch the falling objects. The launcher has always two balls in it, and you can use the right mouse button to swap them. If you hit multiple objects in one shot, you score more points. There's also a multiplier gauge that can help you win more points, but if you don't hit any object on a shot it empties. With the points you get, you can later buy objects for you garden. The credits are not cumulative, so whenever you finish a level, buy something with your credits or you will lose them. Also, you cannot see what things are available to buy for your garden or what they look like, you just choose one of the dollar bubbles randomly to reveal the object. There is also a series of power-ups that are hidden in some objects. Some of them are good and some bad, so be careful when you catch them.
The game includes two modes, Adventure and Quick Play, but they are basically the same. The only difference is that in the Quick Play, you can play any of the gardens you have played before on the Adventure mode, whereas in the latter you play them in order.
The game lacks a story connecting the game, so don't wait for one. The gameplay is pretty simple and there's not so much challenge in the first levels. Graphics are good, but not impressive, and the music is pleasant but a bit repetitive.
All in all, Spring Up! is just another arcade matching game with a cute theme, but with lots of things to improve. Anyway, it deserves a try.
